Summary of Responsibilities:
The UX Researcher will be responsible for helping the Product Management team gain the insights and user feedback required to generate and validate product concepts and market opportunities.  Additionally, this researcher will work across Product Management, Marketing, and Market Intelligence departments to aid in the development of user segmentation, customer journeys, and personas.  

 Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct UX research using a variety of methods to generate and validate opportunities for new products and offerings
  • Develop research deliverables including participant screening criteria, discussion guides, documentation of findings and recommendations
  • Facilitate research debriefs and present findings across all levels of the organization
  • Lead workshops to synthesize research results, develop findings, or drive innovation
  • Develop domain knowledge by using and studying our products, competitor products, market trends, and primary research
  • Perform UX testing of prototypes in 1-on-1 and group interviews as well as via virtual testing methods
  • Maintain and curate a database of users and interviewees that can be leveraged for quick studies and feedback
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a human behavior related field, UX design or with a market research specialization
  • 5-7 years of experience UX design/validation, market research, or similar roles
  • Work experience in roles where you’ve put qualitative and quantitative research methods into practice
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive consensus across teams internationally
  • Experience building customer journey maps, needs-based user segmentation models, and user personas strongly preferred
  • Durable goods experience strongly preferred

Supervisory Responsibility
This is an individual contributor role.

Salary Range:
$80k to $100k


Travel:
This position requires approximately 25% domestic travel.

This job operates in professional office, retail, and outdoor environments as well as virtually. Expect to work 3-5 days/week in the office and 0-2 days/week virtually when not traveling.
