About Our Opportunity

The Global EDI Coordinator will be responsible for the following activities: coordinating the request and setup of EDI transactions; working with developers, map testing and implementing EDI documents using knowledge of standards and business systems; conducting tests and enabling trading partners to send and receive EDI documents; processing failed documents; troubleshooting problems including communication, mapping, failures and issues, and working with trading partners to resolve EDI issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business partners (customers, 3PL, suppliers and others) for EDI requirements collection and complexity analysis;
  • Align with sales and operation teams for EDI setup in terms of timeline and costing to meet the requirements of our business;
  • Prepare sufficient information, Spec documents and work with Nanjing, China IT teams to complete all EDI projects;
  • Ensure that all EDI transactions are running properly, and promptly troubleshoot if any issues occur;
  • Responsible for ED, testing, and maintaining EDI transactions. 

 Qualifications

  • 2-3 years IT or related worked experience in EDI mapping/e-commerce;
  • Degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field; 
  • Experience in Gentran Server for Windows NT;
  • Demonstrated proficiency of EDI ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards; 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong customer focus and management of customer expectations;
  • Knowledge of the retail power tool business (home improvement) a plus.

Preferred Technical Skills

Preferred experience with Oracle ebs ERP and Oracle database
ANSIx12 - 830, 862, 861, 810, 820, 856, 855. EDIFACT -  DESADV, ORDERS, INVOIC, DELJIT, DELFOR
