Job Summary:
The Product Manager will manage private brand product portfolios, partnering with key retailers to expand the product lineup and drive business growth. As the "Product Champion," you will lead product strategy from ideation through launch and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives. This role demands strong cross-functional communication, multi-national collaboration, and the ability to effectively sell strategies to retail partners.
You will work closely with teams in the US and Global Product Management counterparts at our headquarters in Nanjing, China, to deliver exceptional products that create value for end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research to identify customer needs and market trends, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop innovative products that stand out in the marketplace, creating value for targeted consumers.
  • Champion the end-user experience by working with UX and industrial design teams to translate user needs into actionable product development.
  • Manage the product development process from concept to launch, maintaining a 3-5 year roadmap aligned with the company’s strategy.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to define and review product specifications, recommend new products, and make adjustments to existing lines as needed.
  • Analyze competitor products and market positioning to ensure Chervon’s offerings are competitive.
  • Work with retail customers' brand teams to create compelling packaging and marketing materials for in-store and e-commerce platforms.
  • Partner with the commercial team to develop product sales strategies and support customer line reviews by preparing relevant product and market data.
  • Present to retail customers during product line reviews and collaboration meetings.
  • Facilitate communication between North American and China-based teams to ensure smooth product development and launch processes.
  • Stay current on industry trends by attending workshops, networking, and engaging with professional societies.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or product management roles, ideally within tools, lifestyle, or similar consumer goods.
  • Proven track record in defining, validating, launching, and managing products.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with power tools or outdoor power equipment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and product ownership, including a 'fail fast' mindset.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across different cultures and geographic regions.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, end-users, and field sales teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute complex plans.
  • Experience with concept validation and market research techniques.
  • Ability to create new processes and standardize departmental workflows.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
